Les Nouveaux Comptoirs Olfactifs was born from the deep relationship Adja has had with perfumery since her earliest childhood.
As a child, I was already traveling with my family across several continents, introduced very early on to fine fragrances by parents who loved them deeply.
From a passion to an olfactory sanctuary
As a child, I traveled across several continents with my family, introduced early on to fine essences by parents who loved them deeply.
During my teenage years, my father introduced me to the legendary heritage of English perfumery. My mother, meanwhile, blended tradition and modernity by initiating me into the art of seduction through wousoulan.
It is from this dual heritage, my father’s English rigor and the sensuality passed down by my mother—that Les Nouveaux Comptoirs Olfactifs was born within me, almost inevitably.

I spent eleven years at the heart of major perfume houses, mastering the techniques, raw materials, and codes of a demanding craft. Yet, something was missing: spontaneity, personal connection, and the freedom to create without imposed standards. Les Nouveaux Comptoirs Olfactifs was born from this desire—a space that reflects who I am, where we take the time to smell before choosing, and where every fragrance is shaped by the person who will wear it, rather than the other way around. I initially chose a boutique format. It was the right step at the time, and I maintained it for nine years.
Each perfume is a journey, a story written in invisible notes, ready to be revealed by your skin.
A new chapter:
From shop to roaming
Today, I closed the door to the shop. It is not an end, but a beginning—like shedding what is no longer needed to keep only the essential. I have realized that waiting is no longer my path. From now on, I prefer to come to you, bringing my attentive ear and expertise directly to your doorstep, rather than keeping them locked under one roof. Les Nouveaux Comptoirs Olfactifs no longer have a single address: they have a thousand, wherever our paths may cross.
